Dr. David Pittman, SES
Chief Scientist of USACE and ERDC Director
Dr. David Pittman began his engineering career in the very areas of concern that GAP 2019 is focused on. Dr. Pittman will share his experience and that of the US Army Corps of Engineers and the Engineer Research and Development Center, with a particular focus on the ways in which interdisciplinary learning and exchange have been essential to our continued improvement of civil infrastructure. Dr. Pittman is based at the US Army Corps’ historic Vicksburg, Mississippi research site.
